Pretti Philosophy

While translators are specialists in converting the words of one language into another accurately, Pretti Language translators always focus on the ultimate goal of the client, so that the final translation result is culturally optimised to transmit your message.

Depending on your specific objectives, we encourage you to choose from our range of valuable Additional Services to help you achieve your beautiful and successful result.

This philosophy is just as important to us for our interpreting work, where we act as your ambassador when we speak on your behalf in a foreign language.

No matter what type of business you are in, beautiful language is the key to successful communication. That’s why Pretti Language is the key to your success.

Key Roles

Ms. Elizabeth Z. Chen

Executive Manager

Ms. Chen, a NAATI accredited professional Translator and Conference Interpreter, founded Pretti Language after her clients kept asking her for help getting their translated work ready for publication overseas. This is a service that has traditionally been lacking from most other translation agencies.

With a university degree in Journalism and experience as a television presenter and producer, Ms. Chen is often asked to utilise her marketing and presentation skills to augment her translation and interpreting services.

By completing a Masters degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Queensland, Ms. Chen has further developed her in-depth understanding of successful message transmission during the translation and interpreting process.

More recently, Ms. Chen has expanded Pretti Language to bring this mix of skills and customer service to all major languages, as well as to her native Mandarin Chinese. This has been achieved through a thorough vetting and recruitment process designed to maintain the highest standards.

As an active member of several professional associations, including AUSIT, FCA, and Queensland Writers Centre, Ms Chen remains up to date with the current events of the industry and is better able to relate to clients and their needs.
